Financial Aid

Financial Aid recipients who have awards showing on their Self-Service account may charge books and required school supplies at the SCC Bookstore at the beginning of each semester. The Bookstore charging dates can be found posted on the SCC Bookstore page. Bookstore charges from the SCC Bookstore are deducted from the student's financial aid award before financial aid refunds are issued. This service is provided as a convenience to students, though students are not required to purchase books this way. Financial Aid students wishing to purchase books from another vendor will need to pay for those purchases on their own and those costs will not be deducted from their financial aid. For students with the Success Scholarship or any other SCC funded scholarship, please note they cover tuition and fees only; they can not be used for charging books or required school supplies in the SCC Bookstore.
